More Investment for Better Health Care

The most recent statistics reflect the increasing GDP per capita expenditure on health for Syrian citizens from $ 60 per year in 2003 to $ 90 per year in 2008. With the move toward the eleventh five-year plan for socials and in line with the principles of social market economy, the Syrian government intends to increase investment in social sectors, especially education and health. Accordingly, investment appropriations for the Ministry of Health will increase by 10 % in 2010 compared to 2009.

Medicare 2010 is going to be held under the gracious patronage of the Syrian Ministry of Health participating effectively in the show by its active attendance, generous support and encouragement.
